# SFGMC Template 01 — Eight demo graphics Created locally October 23, 2026. These are review concepts, not published campaigns. No WordPress content or media records were changed. All graphic artwork says SFGMC.org. PNGs use exact native pixel dimensions; these are digital assets, not print-ready CMYK or bleed files. ## Editorial sources The occasions and Jacob Stensberg’s November 4 birthday came from the user’s planning sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R-xln60dPCGzXg34tnEZod3t4tHWereQbGtnUA_0-gE/edit SFGMC’s own history transcript confirms October 30, 1978 as the first rehearsal and December 20 as the formal community introduction at the band’s holiday concert: https://www.sfgmc.org/sfgmc-history-video The Chan’s official announcement confirms the October 30, 2023 community open house: https://www.sfgmc.org/press-releases-1/2023/10/21/the-historic-grand-opening-of-the-pansy-l-chan-and-terrence-d-chan-national-queer-arts-center The sheet’s 1985 Christmas Eve / Mission High School claim was not independently confirmed. The holiday demo deliberately uses a general December 24 message, with no first-concert year, ticket offer, or 2026 venue. The established Castro Theatre Christmas Eve tradition began in 1990; do not confuse these claims. Birthday date is user-sheet supplied, rather than independently verified. The Human Rights Day and World AIDS Day observances use their standard dates. Year-end copy is a greeting rather than a concert announcement. Modern photographs used with historical anniversaries are legacy illustrations, not documentary images of those occasions. See each preset’s note. ## Images used Read from the public wesinglove.com media library. Credit information below reflects the library’s metadata and filenames; where a photographer is not recorded, no attribution has been invented. No additional photographer metadata supplied. - **Red AIDS awareness ribbon** — original SVG drawn for this demo, `assets/aids-ribbon.svg`. Separate artwork, not an SFGMC logo variation. Independently placed and confined to the graphic area. ## Palettes and text contrast Dark background / light text pairs, WCAG relative luminance calculation: | Pair | Dark | Light | Contrast | |---|---|---|---| | Pink | #560B39 | #FF55BC | 4.84:1 | | Coral | #6A2520 | #FFB4A1 | 6.48:1 | | Gold | #59420B | #FFD447 | 6.68:1 | | Lime | #354100 | #D7FF00 | 9.54:1 | | Teal | #073D40 | #6CE8D4 | 8.07:1 | | Sky blue | #164D68 | #BDEBFF | 7.18:1 | | Blue | #153B8F | #A9C8FF | 6.03:1 | | Violet | #29205F | #C19BFF | 6.41:1 | These ratios apply to flat paired text/background colors. They do not certify every pixel of headline-over-photo contrast. Portrait headlines retain the template’s dark gradient overlay; photo crops and headline legibility were visually reviewed. Full-color SFGMC logos preserve their approved artwork. ## Local files and regeneration Open http://127.0.0.1:5180/demos/ while the Graphic Studio server is running. Gallery offers full-size previews, equal-height/equal-width comparison, individual PNG downloads and a ZIP. `presets.json` holds the eight editable content/source specifications. Three additional demo dimensions adapt the original template geometry while rendering images with preserved aspect ratio. The production editor’s original five formats remain unchanged. `build-renderer.py` extracts the existing canvas compositing core into `generated-renderer.js` and adds demo-only loading and crop settings. Regenerate from the project root using `python3 graphic-studio/demos/build-renderer.py`, then `node graphic-studio/demos/render.mjs`, then `graphic-studio/.venv/bin/python graphic-studio/demos/package.py`. Rendering requires the local server and the installed Chrome/Playwright paths used by the existing prototype.
